Talking Ansa Cat-Back Exhausts!

We have partnered up with Ansa to bring their new Silverline exhausts to the Subaru community. Ansa is anxious to get these exhausts on peoples cars and therefore has allowed me to sell a bunch of them at ridiculously low prices.

For those of you not familiar with Ansa, they are OE exhaust suppliers to companies such as Ferrari and Lamborghini. They have also been a big player in the aftermarket exhaust industry for many years, mainly for european cars. They are now focusing on getting a piece of the import segment of the aftermarket exhaust industry.

This exhaust utilizes mandrel bent 3" stainless steel tubing with a high-flow straight through cannister muffler. The muffler has a removeable baffle to keep the sound down on the street, but can be easily removed for a few extra hp (and Db's!) at the track.

The retail price on these is $496. Our introductory price is $396. If we can get 5 people together, the 'group buy' price is an insanely low $369!

For those not wanting to wait for five people, you can purchase them directly from our site for $396 here:
http://www.oakos.com/Merchant2/merch...ode=ANSSDF2127

Here is a vid clip from inside the cockpit:
http://www.oakos.com/wrx/gallery/vid...sa_exhaust.wmv

And a picture:

I am working on getting a larger picture of the exhaust installed on a car, but for the mean time here is a smaller one to give you an idea of how it will look on the car:

Please let me know if you have any questions! Thanks!

Sincerely,
David Kearney

I'm interested. You have any more pictures? What's the muffler tip diameter? Stupid question: Is this a direct fit for the 05 STi?

Thanks!

Neil.

the blue thing, I'm sorry but we don't ship internationally so we won't be able to ship one to Toronto.

Neil, Thanks for your interest! Yes, it is a direct fit on the '05 STi. The muffler tip is 4" diameter.

vitaminwrx, I am working on getting more video and pictures from Ansa. I will post anything as soon as I get it.

mbraun20, Thanks!

John Gotti, I'm sorry, but we don't ship internationally.

I agree. I don't seem to remember a ferrari or lambroghini with a 4" tip. They all have beautiful sounding dual tips. This is an instance where an otherwise good idea is spoiled by a company thinking we all aspire to Need For Speed Underground. I'd really like to see something that offered the class of a ferrari. If it were dual tips I would consider it.

So don't buy it. You have quite a few choices of dual tips out there. Check www.oakos.com for some options. I PERSONALLY also like the dual tips (for my own reasons), but there are plenty of people out there that like the bigger tips and canister-style mufflers (These catbacks also have fewer bends at the muffler section which you would think would slightly improve flow). Anyhow, let this vendor sell the product... are you a competitor or something? Lame.

BTW... Oakos, I've never purchased anything from you guys, but here's a free bump to you (as if you need it )

Thanks for all the interest and feedback. It is much appreciated!

We are closing the group buy due to lack of interest. However, we have lowered the regular price of the exhaust to the group buy price of $369 with free shipping!

Anyone that is interested in ordering one can find them on our website here:
http://www.oakos.com/Merchant2/merch...ode=ANSSDF2127

The first person to buy one, install it, and send us high quality pics of it installed on their car will get a $25 Oakos Automotive gift certificate! Include high quality video along with the pics and that gift cert grows to $45!

I will keep this thread open for another 24 hours and then it will be locked. Please address any questions to either our email (sales@oakos.com) or our Engine/Performance ad here:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=533512

Thanks!
