I like the debadge, but be careful. When I did my 2001 Legacy one of the badges was not just stuck on, it had like to little pin things and two holes in the car. So now I have two holes on my hatch...I just put a sticker over it. But if you can do it I woud deBADGE.

Go to(or call) the dealer and ask the head mechanic if they use adhesive to stick it on or if its attached to the trunk before you attempt to do anything, thats what i'd do.

Looks a little weird without the badges for some reason. Can't quite put my finger on it though.

Leave the badging on... i don't think it looks right on the Legacy's without badging IMO.

You know what's funny, in the p-shopped one where he debandged the trunk he left his licence plate, but in the non-pshopped one he whited out the licence plate.....

"anonymous", how nice of you not to post blame! So, any decision on whether you will debadge or not?

Maybe just debadge the Subaru letters? Seems kinda redundant to have that and the oval stars emblem on there.

yeah, do it in stages. That's what I did, but my final stage was unfortunately the one with the holes. i think it was actually the Subaru badge that had the holes.

My opinion.. take off every badge/emblem/plate holder except for the "Legacy" badge.

Hmm lets see how I can sway the vote

I gotta admit, debadging does look pretty clean. Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a tie. Looks like somone else will have to decide the fate of your badges
