Default Tuning A Utec

I noticed the UTEC is not LIVE TUNING unlike some of the EM I am used to.

Is there a way to make the MAP live?

OMG you may have to actually learn how to tune!!!! Imagine that!!!

Seriously though, its not hard. And once you get it set, you shouldnt need to really screw with it.

And what EM are you talking about?? Only the Hydra has the ability to tune itself that I know of. Reflashes cant thats for damned sure.

The Link had a live tune feature. You could hold the car at a selected rpm and boost on the dyno and press the up/down keys to add/remove fuel and timing.

Shame the link was a PITA in all other respects.

UTEC tuning is easy...

For the most part, everyone uses #1, as it provides the most "tuning" information.

4 is good for calibrating the MAP vs. a boost gauge. I haven't used anything else besides 1 (or more often [shift] 1 ) except to look at them briefly.
