Default Our new house.

I put this in the OT too, but thought I could post 'em here too..

I thought I'd share some new pics of the house my wife and I are having built... It's our first home and we're really pshyched about getting in.

Here are some specs:

House sits on 2 acres with about 2,000 square feet including garage. It has 3 bedrooms with 2 and a half bath and has a gas fireplace. We're in Milledgeville, Ga.

From the road:

Closer shot of the wrap around porch... (One of my favorite features)

Here's a shot of the garage area. I am thinking about putting another garage further back on the property later on.

Well, those are the best shots I have for now. I should be getting more as I get some more film developed in the next few days.

We are scheduled to close on the house at the end of the month.

Landscaping and driveway should be done sometime this week too, I'll post new pics then.

Other new SE homeowners? Feel free to post your pics as well...

Sweet. Something like that here in Ft. Lauderdale would cost about $600,000. Hope it was a lot cheaper for you. Beautiful home and land. WHen you add that extra garage, make sure you make it tall enough for a lift

Congrats Joe. Sweet house (what I can see of it at least ).

BTW, 2 acres in my neighborhood = an entire cul-de-sac.

Heh, thanks man. I will get some more pics up as I get more film developed. I have been taking pics of the house step by step so there are a lot to show.

Heh, I didn't think the 2 acres was that much. I guess I have gotten used to friends of mine here having near 20 or so.

I hear ya.

When I go to Atlanta to visit the parents, I get tired of all the traffic real quick.

The wraparound porch is gorgeous! The 2 acres must be sweet, especially with the woods around the house!

Congrats and happy moving!
