Default another utec question

i got a used utec with 2 maps already loaded, ok? its off the same year car with almost identical mods,(just brand difference) will i be safe to use that map for a while, until i can get to a dyno or learn to do it myself? i know every car is different, but ours should be close enough to not pose a problem, right?

any advice/opinions welcome. thanks again.

It depends. If the changes made to the tune weren't major (a few * of timing, a little fuel changes), you're probably ok. If they had an extreme custom tune done, you might be ok, you might not be. Regardless, I'd probably re-map the boost just to make sure its working how you like.
