Default Rubbing? 225s on P1 w/ teh wagon

OK looking to buy some used wheels.... Have stock suspensioned wagon but will upgrade to prodrive springs. Will 17x7 P1' w/ 225 tires rub now or with the springs? I did search but there are hundreds of irelevent threads that I didn't want to sift through. Thanks

Remind me of the offset on the P1. 51? 52?
If they are higher than 50 you should be OK. 53 is great, I know a few wagons on lowered suspension using the STi wheel and tire combo.

it will depend on a couple of more things, what tire and your alignment. different tires in the same size can be different actual widths. How much negative camber you run in the rear will also dictate if your tire will clear your rear fender.

there is a thread in the tire forum that discusses this very topic.
