Default Ever wonder who's working on your bicycle...

Do you assume that the mechanic who wrenches on your baby is a clean-cut roadie who'll love and pamper your ride as much as you do?

Yeah, where I got my bike they have 2 mechanics, and the guy who greets you at the service desk. The guy who greets you and takes your info is a clean cut guy, then you look past him and see where tattooed, long haired, guys. I have not had a problem, I don't care what they look like, as long as my bike's wheel doesn't fall off and it shifts.

Somebody Else has all the tools, the stands, makes wheels, etc.

The only way to fly.

Back when I was into it, I achieved wheel Zen. My wheels last forever, stay true forever and are light. It's all in the ear, my friends. All in the ear. The truing stand is only there to confirm what the ear tells you.

My bike mechanic is a 60 year old hippie.

Does good work though.
