Now you guys may have more experience than I do with turboing N/A motors so I have a few questions... Now I have a very basic idea of what is going to happen and the parts I need to twin turbo my SVX. My biggest concern right now would be, What spark plugs should I be running? I plan on getting as set of NGK SVX spec plugs with a heat range of 7 and a gap of .44. I just want to double check with some of you RS-T guys and what you are running on your turbo motors... Thnx for the replies

dude there is a thread in this very forum called "what plugs are you running?" lots of RST guys responded there. Seeing as how there are only like 5 threads up in this forum you definitly didnt search very hard on this topic before posting.

From the thread Kawi was referring to:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=836970 It seems like a NGK spark plug with a heat range of 7, gapped between .026-.030" would be best in most turbo set-ups. |

We have rules which set a certain number of posts a n00b must make before he can post images or urls. I think we need to set a minimum number of searches a n00b must perform before posting anything at all. ![]() |

On the other hand... in the AFI forum, 99% of any percievable questions have already been covered.
Since there is only about 5 posts per day in this forum, WHO CARES if its a repost? ---------------------- to answer your question, find out what plugs you have, go one heatrange colder, and then gap them less than .030" and you will be fine. Wow, if thats your only question, it sounds like youve have all the hard stuff figured out? -Jake |

Why twin turbo over single turbo. The biturbo nissan, toyota and mazda guys seem to all go single turbo when upgrading. Why not skip all the extra hardware involved in a twin turbo kit and go single?

My guess is, he's not looking for maximum peak horsepower. Putting 2 properly sized turbo's on that H-6, they could possibly spool fast enough to feel like a supercharger.

. There is a thread posted at Subaru-svx.net for anyone who is interested in progress. I do not want people posting stuff in that thread that will not be helpful ( example-people whining about reposts). I asked for some info and I got it reluctantly. thank you for those of u who showed interest instead of trying to flame a N00b. I cannot people still care about that. Tom |

seems to me that plug gap and heat range should be the least of your problems building a TT setup. Well good luck!
