Impreza WRX Cobb Stage 1, wastegate and DBC

I have an '02 wrx with stage 1 access ecu with hks grounding kit. I am looking for ways to tweak my car using the stock components. I've been told that the boost decreases after 5k rpm. So i've been a few things, adjust my stock wastegate so it holds boost longer. Buy an AVO wastegate which is designed for the wrx to hold boost upto 15psi longer. Buy a TurboXS Dual Boost Controller instead of the wastegate, price is about the same, the DBC has more adjustment/flexiblity then the aftermarket wastegate.

Now. I know the accessecu will allow for an uppipe, pulley and clutch. Will the AECU allow for a wastegate adjustment, wastegate or DBC without having known problems occur? if any?

Default This is PRE 02

So you posted in the wrong section. It would be pointless to buy a boost controller with the accessport since it does that. And if you start messing with the wastetgate then your going to foul up the tuning so you may make the car run worse or unsafe lean. The best thing you could do is either get a custom tune or save up and add a DP and reflash stage 2.
