Never dealt with them, but they are good.

If I ever have the money and the guts to go through with cams, Cobb is getting my money.

Well, I just finished putting the heads and dual cams from cobb in. At 35 MPH on rt125 in NH I can not tell if their is a power gain but Trey responds to problems. I will give further up dates as i work on the beast.

Good to know, I'm about to spend an obscene amount of money for the entire stage 2 NA kit, plus cams... hehe I'm hoping for about 200 to 205 hp

Default yamarocket 630...

..you won't find any other performance shop like Cobb Tuning,(beside Shiv's, heard of his good reputation also), Trey Cobb is that kind of person that represents all his products and does deep research before offering any of them. He is getting more busy each day, so don't loose time ,call hin, make an appointment and start enjoying your car like I do

Sen: you better check your "but dyno" there is no way with heads and cams you can't feel a difference

Say, doesn't this belong in the Vendor forum?

As a vendor Trey is excellent as all of his business is Subaru and most of it comes from this club. With 7000+ members, he tends to be pretty busy. Even more so lately as he is currently bending new intake manifolds for Rallyrcr.

His products are all very well researched, from the stuff made inhouse to the stuff he gets from other vendors. That and all the feedback he gets from this Forum allow him to provide the very best products.

The downsides? Well, did I mention he is busy as all heck? Emails have a delay time of about 48 hours. Fairly normal if you have to sort through and research several hundred emails in a day. Phone calls have about an 80% chance of getting through without a busy.

But once you get through, service is excellent and they are always polite to you. If there is a question that Josh (sales) cannot answer, he will refer you on to Trey. And that is what you are paying for when you work with Cobb Tuning. Trey is full of technical insite and if he doesn't have an answer, he will find one and get back to you.

Hey Der,

I just returned from Cobb Tuning. I now have their Intake, Cams, and short throw shifter. You can't go wrong with Cobb. Trey and Josh are wonderful people full of information. Installation was top notch, and the quality of everything is the best.

It takes time and money to get the best. Cobb's prices are a steal for the level of quality you receive. If only they were closer than 900 miles away, I'd go more often. Check them out,

Tim

I am another one who got a CAI from them a couple of weeks ago. They were great to deal with and the CAI I got from them was awsome.
Even my roomate, who is a pickup guy, loves the intake. Sometimes I think he likes the looks more than the performance it adds because he always wants to look at it before we drive my car anywhere . Oh well, I don't mind checking it out either.
