Borla Hush Catback

I found my perfect exhaust!!! sounds good and isnt loud. But will this fit on my 01 2.5RS?(or can i make it fit)

Heres the link the site doesnt specify what years or what models it will fit so im hoping someone on here can help me out with that.

If it wont bolt right up than ill have to find a way to make it fit, and for this sound i will.

thats for the wrx, if you had done a search you would have found:

1. wrx/sti exhausts dont bolt right up and needs modification
2. svek made a thread in this very section about borla hush being sold for the gc

you'll need to extend the midpipe for about 2 inches and rotate the flange between the midpipe and the cat to fit it. probably needs to reduce the size of the pipe as the piping diameter of the cat is smaller than 3".

3" is way too wide for 2.5RS tho, unless you are planning to turbo your car.

i am planning for a turbo, just not right now, maybe bout a year. would i lose a lot of backpressure? and how bad would that lower my hp/tq? Would be nice if they made it in 2.25" or 2.5". I could always see if i could get just the muffler and have a custom mid pipe bent up with 2.25"
