Default PDX Tuned: FP20G w/ 3" inlet

I was another one of the fortunate individuals to be tuned in Texas at Forced Induction Systems while PDX Tuning, Jarrad and Tim were intown for a few days. Jarrad one year prior had sold me on the ECUtek and I was thrilled with 298/318 on a stock turbo with turbo back and an intake. This year I wanted to make more power, but not lose the feel of the low end grunt the car already had. I was going nuts deciding between the FP Green and a new varient of the FP20G running the 3" inlet. Well here's the numbers:

2004 STi with 15000 miles:
-Engine mods-
*FP20G with 3" inlet
*Perrin modded STi injectors
*Perrin 3" inlet hose
*Perrin fuel rails
*Perrin FMIC
*Perrin big MAF
*Perrin crank pulley
*Walbro 255 pump
*APS tgv delete kit
*Injen catless DP
*HKS carbon/ti catback
*ECUtek
*One step colder plugs
*Turbo XS DTEC BC Pro

Overall, the results are more than I expected. After riding in Adam P's car with the 3" Green, I wasn't sure if I had made the right decision on the 3" 20G, but after my tune on the dyno, I can see where the differneces are, and I got exactly what I wanted. Thank you PDX, thank you FP!!

Greg

..and yes, I know the weight was mistyped. We still aren't sure if it was keyed into the tuning, or just the printout info, ...either way it's a very minimal difference, ...and my car's not an 05.

I think Bling should switch to a 20g as this car out powers him...and has better spool to boot.

And he has a built Motor/RED and cams/headwork...what gives

Na he's been rubbing them "gently" everyday as ordered by the doctor. I told him to rub some warm white cream on them too

probably because they are "one-offs", ...call Extreme Dimensions, ask for Leigh, tell him you want the kevlar hood and trunk from Carbon Creations. Be prepared to pay alot and wait, then wait some more, ...then more, one day they will arrive.

Nice job on getting the compressor polished. My Green was polished since that is all they had in stock at the time and I wasn't about to wait so I picked it up and now I will never go back. My Red is polished and every turbo I do from now till the end of time will be polished!

Car is Hawt!!!

I couldn't tell you unless someone can post in here with a 20G w/ stock inlet. I can say there was a guy there tuning with a FP Green with stock inlet, I think he was tuned on 91 for some reason, but his numbers were off. Strange, ...hope he posts in here.

93 pump, here's my 4th gear boost map:

2000 rpm - 19.4 psi - 65% duty cycle
3000 rpm - 21.4 psi - 64% duty cycle
4000 rpm - 22 psi - 61% duty cycle
5000 rpm - 21 psi - 58% duty cycle
6000 rpm - 20.1 psi - 57% duty cycle
7000 rpm - 20 psi - 59% duty cycle

i've since been playing with it a bit, but not much.
