Default The "Holy Grail" of all USDM Impreza's is in our shop right now!

Wow I was surprised when I found this dropped off for service this morning....

1998 Impreza 2.5RS Coupe, Green w/Gold Wheels, 5spd., Built in 02/97, last 6 of VIN: 000008

It's only the 8th USDM Impreza Coupe off the assembly line in 1997, possibly one of the first 2.5RS's in existance....and probably the very first Green one!

I want it.......

damn.

I had 00750 with a 6/97 production build. The important thing to remember is that the RS's were built WITH the regular imprezas, and numbered in sequence with them.

Hang on to this one, opie.

I still kick myself everyday for getting rid of the 99 RS

Rally blue 1999 2.5 RS with an automatic
one of 250 made in that color maybe? Manufactured in late Sept. 1998

on yeah, I forgot to mention that there is a factory service bulletin
about the total engine failure due to the low octane of us gasoline.

and that you would gladly pay her a tidy sum to offset the purchase
of her "new" car.

Will, it's a 98!! Tell her that because it's a DOHC EJ25, that the headgaskets are doomed and that it'll cost like $5,000 to fix them
