yea, think about it, snow is like the weights that balance your rims. If you have snow in your rims, you have alot of extra weight around and it may all not be placed perfectly = vibration

ditto. happens in the spring here in VT with old sand / mud / etc. Drop $2.50 in the self-spray carwash and hit it with the high pressure.

I didn't know, I had VW VR6 before and I liked to have fun in the snow too, I had 16" rims, never had any problem like this.

size doesn't matter.... snow in the rims happens all the time. scared me at first the first time. I pulled over and looked to see if I had damaged the rim and noticed the packed snow so I used my breaker bar to knock the snow out.

Yep, that's one drawback to doing donuts. It cakes the snow in your wheels and then when you drive away, it feels like your car needs an alignment.

wait... this question is being asked in New England?

You've really NEVER experienced this phenomenon before?
I will admit when I first got my drivers license I freaked out when my car did that the first time though.
