Cool Posted Pics

Well, at long last, with the help of my son, the PC expert, I've got some pictures of NUBURU posted. Let me know what you think. Or, if you've got a high speed connection (large pix), try these: http://www.mypage.onemain.com/eo1001...enn/headon.JPG | http://www.mypage.onemain.com/eo1001...n/interior.JPG | http://www.mypage.onemain.com/eo1001...n/leftrear.JPG | http://www.mypage.onemain.com/eo1001...n/leftside.JPG | http://www.mypage.onemain.com/eo1001...nn/rtside2.JPG

Cool

Absolutely beautiful- fantastic! I've got a white sedan, and would've actually preferred the wagon. So I guess you're driving my dream car!

Lookin' good-

Very nice! I really like the Legacy and Impreza in white, especially with white aftermarket rims. Looks very classy!

Thanks guys!! Always nice to hear from other officianados that can appreciate the Excellence of our cars! Actually had the opportunity to demonstrate it's handling prowess to a '00 Rodeo driver the other night when he tried to bully us off the road in a 2 into 1 lane merge followed by a 90 degree right (I had the right of way). I dropped a gear and surprised him and when he followed/tailgated me into the turn he found himself sideways across 2 empty lanes while I clipped the apex and slid neatly and quickly away! This with stock suspension. Can hardly wait to get the bigger rear bar on it! The wife's still P****d at me, muttering something about testosterone and 50 yr old teenagers! Ah well. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Most Excellent New Year! AWD Rules!!!

By the way, Force Fed your GT is gorgeous!! I've always loved Red cars and yours fills the bill. My Sis-in-Law has her Rio Red '93 SVX 25th Anniversary Edition parked out front at this moment and I can't help but admire it's sweeping lines. Think I'll take it for a Christmas cruise this afternoon! Cheers!

Looks sharp Scooby2!! I've got a Black Integra for my daily driver and know exactly what you mean!! Looks like ya just washed her for the picture!! Black is Beautiful, for about 48 hours, then poof! time to wash her again! The White still looks good when approaching dirty, til you get close up. I think the color is Stealthy though as far as Fast movin' down the interstate. Your Rice-Burner looks like it takes care of that!!!
Cheers!!!

Thanks for the compliment nuburu2 (don't see your real name anywhere). Actually, all the pictures on my webpage don't do my GT any justice. I was using my brother's digital cam, and I didn't change the resolution from the 640*480, and when we converted them to make them small enough to download, the quality dropped even less.

When all cleaned up, my car even stuns me sometimes with it's good looks. I have babied the car for 2 years, and it has paid off since the paint really glistens in the sun.

I am always getting stopped by people at work, gas stations, etc who like the car. My favorite time was when I went to dinner at Don Pablos this summer with my fiancee and one of her girlfriends. I got a prime parking spot, right up front by the main entrance. The parking spot was on a slope, and the car looked perfect. We were standing outside about 10 feet from my car near a bench so Gabrielle could have a smoke, and 2 guys walked out of the restaurant. They were pointing at my car, and talking it up. Of course they didn't know the owner was standing right there the whole time listening

It was kinda hard to get my inflated head into the car after that

Kev

Cool

Pleides, Silver's cool too! Another Stealthy color, and looks like you need it!!

Force (Fed) Your car shows the attention and pampering. These clear coat colors are wonderful! I remember(careful now!) when a red car meant almost constant attention to occidation. All my rags were eventually stained with cast-off red paint. But maybe that had something to do with the Brit origin of my red babies! Also the home of LUCAS Electricals, the Tow-Truck driver's friend!!
I digress. Must be the Christmas Cheer! Here's to our modern opposed, multiport injected, All Wheel Drive Wonders!!

Very nice!! Gotta love that White on White! The track pic is Great! Love that Grill!! Is that a SYMS part or other? I see that as a very weak point appearance-wise on my car. Challenger Deep Imports has a very nice RFRB part but kinda pricey. Wish the Blitzen kit they sell fit the Gen 2 cars but no such luck! Those with '00/'01 cars might want to take a look! Hold onto your wallet though!! www.challengerdeep.com/

Matt, Have you looked at the Side marker lamps CD sells?? They replace the bump-strip in front of the doors and run a bit over $100 plus wiring.

Thanks nubaru2, I take a lot of pride in my Lecacy. There's nothing like shocking the fellow RS drivers or M3 drivers now. For all of you Legacy drivers, you have to hit the track, especially roadcourse!! That's where the Legacy really shines.
The grill is actually an Air Real Grill. I found them in a HyperRev issue and had a friend in Japan send it to me. Although some mods were needed. Legacy's actually have two versions. As you probably know the later version has a recessed grill (into bumper) as the earlier version laid above.
In terms of the side markers they're there. You have to look closely, they're clear w/colored bulbs and painted to match.
As for the wiring, you can do it yourself!! Just tap into the blinker wire, don't set it up like the Honda's, on only when signaling. Now the socket on the back of the lense, all Subaru's use the same socket for the markers; Impreza's and '93 on Legacy's.
-Matt
-More pics to come. You gotta see the turbo and other custom mods.

Have a Nice Day?

Man!! Are my eyes really gettin' that bad? I saw your post about clear side markers and looked...and looked... and the track pic was the only clear side view, blah, blah... Should have known you'd be all over that!! They look to finish off the side of the car and are definitely high on my list of next's. Bargain price too!
I'd love to get the wagon on the track, but like I said B4 every time the car starts slidin' I get an earful (except in the snow!)!! Guess I'll have to leave her at home! OK, Jamie! Yes I've tried to teach her!! After 29 years it's a lost cause!! Ladies like SubieGal are a rare breed!

You know, I would never be one to scoff at any other car owners, but I absofrigginlutely love the looks of my Legacy GT. People are indeed quite complimentary of it (I have the black one too, and dig that purple tint in the sunlight).

But I love that square-shouldered muscularity of it, something that the new wagon lacks to my eye. I love the way the new GT sedan looks, though. Go figure.

I'm thinking it's going to look totally badass with the P1s on.

Nice pictures, all of you. Here are some pics of my first 2.5GT: http://216.242.153.40/MembersList/Vi...m?MemberID=428 . That one is all gone now (although I'll be heading to the scrap yard this week to get some parts from it, so it will live on!).

I have a silver '97 now, no pictures yet unfortunately. It will have all the same mods the '99 had, and probably more.

I have a whole bunch of questions for Crazy KEN and SYMS GT now that I've seen your mod lists. Rather than clutter up this post, I'll be starting a couple new threads, so please be on the lookout for those, fellas.
