I am having a wierd issue with my utec. I am running the utec on top of the ecutek. Because of the power I am making, anyway I have an issue that just started recently. I am seeing in my utec logs the TPS going to 0% radonmly. Its almost like hitting fuel cut. Only seems to happen under boost.
Here is an example of what I mean: 3293 -4.5 3.0 36 10 00 +44.6 14.1 +20.1 -4.0 375.00 2.6 3220 -4.5 3.0 36 10 00 +44.6 13.8 +20.0 -4.0 375.00 2.6 3306 -3.0 3.2 45 10 00 +43.2 14.7 +20.2 -4.0 375.00 2.6 3390 -1.2 3.2 59 10 00 +41.9 16.8 +20.6 -4.0 375.00 2.6 3479 +0.4 3.4 65 10 00 +41.1 18.6 +20.8 -4.0 375.00 2.7 3671 +1.7 3.4 70 10 00 +40.2 20.7 +21.0 -4.0 375.00 2.9 3675 +2.3 3.5 70 20 00 +39.6 22.7 +18.0 -4.3 375.00 3.0 3762 +3.1 3.5 73 20 00 +36.8 25.4 +18.0 -4.9 375.00 3.0 3858 +4.1 3.6 79 20 00 +35.8 29.8 +19.2 -4.7 375.00 3.1 3940 +5.3 3.8 81 30 00 +34.0 32.3 +20.0 -5.0 375.00 3.2 4120 +7.0 4.0 81 40 00 +31.4 35.6 +20.2 -6.8 375.00 3.3 4295 +8.8 4.3 82 50 00 +28.7 40.4 +19.7 -8.6 375.00 3.4 4474 +11.3 4.5 79 60 00 +27.0 46.0 +18.5 -11.6 375.00 3.5 4721 +14.7 4.7 71 70 00 +25.2 54.8 +18.8 -11.1 375.00 3.5 4901 +17.6 5.0 70 80 00 +24.4 63.4 +19.9 -10.0 375.00 3.8 5257 +19.8 4.8 65 80 00 +25.2 63.6 +21.0 -9.1 375.00 3.9 4967 +21.2 4.8 61 80 00 +27.7 64.3 +27.6 -9.1 375.00 4.4 5592 +20.8 5.0 56 80 00 +26.0 62.6 +21.7 -7.6 375.00 3.9 4873 +16.6 2.0 1 00 00 +23.4 59.3 ECU. -3.0 ECU. 1.7 4374 +8.8 4.5 1 00 00 +23.6 59.3 ECU. -2.3 ECU. 3.5 3921 +0.4 3.5 1 00 00 +23.7 59.3 ECU. +0.2 ECU. 2.9 3483 -7.3 2.9 1 00 00 +23.6 59.3 ECU. +2.0 ECU. 2.4 4100 -11.2 2.3 11 00 00 +29.6 7.6 ECU. -1.9 ECU. 2.2 4060 -11.8 2.6 13 00 00 +44.4 11.1 ECU. -0.8 ECU. 2.2 4030 -11.8 2.2 12 00 00 +36.9 7.8 ECU. -1.1 ECU. 1.8 3958 -12.0 2.2 9 00 00 +40.5 7.9 ECU. -0.8 ECU. 2.0 3987 -12.4 2.4 9 00 00 +40.7 6.7 ECU. -0.5 ECU. 2.0 2878 -4.5 2.8 30 10 00 +43.4 12.8 +21.8 -4.0 ECU. 2.4 2858 -4.5 2.8 30 10 00 +44.2 11.1 +21.5 -4.0 375.00 2.4 3033 -3.2 3.0 36 10 00 +44.8 12.6 +20.0 -4.0 375.00 2.5 Any ideas? thanks, Dan |

Maybe this cause your TPS went back to 0 because ur ECU think something was wrong and dangerous. Just my 2 cents |

If I remember corectly, the sti Utec uses the peddle TPS sensor as the TPS reference.
I would start looking there. TMS |

I found the problem. It appears that the peddle tps sensor was getting too high of a voltage. Was making it read inconsistant. We backed the voltage down from that and it seemed to resolve the issue. Wierd for sure.
The utec doesnt let the ecu see the maf so that wouldnt matter. Thanks for the help guys, this was a bear to figure out lol |
