code 56
I have a 1993 impreza L awd 1.8L 5spd and when i was trying to figure out whats wrong with the car by checking the codes i found out that the 2 black wires under the dash are disconnected so i connected them and got a code of 56 which i found out to be a egr system related problem. now other then the egr is there anything else that can be in this system as i dont know alot about the car or them in general im learning slowly though lol....
is there a way of checking to see if the egr is bad or not like a test? should those black wires be connected all the time or only temporarily? what about the green ones? please let me know asap as the part costs $189 at local parts shop |
