Default Anyone have the Cobb clutch kit?

Anyone here use the Cobb Tuning Pro-Street clutch kit? I'm curious how the pedal pressure is and if it is worth the $400 which doesn;t sound to bad for a clutch. What brand is the pressure plate and the rest of it? thanks!

I use it. It's an ACT.

Default ACT clutch kit

I had this installed several months ago. The pedal is MUCH heavier, probably 2 times heavier. The clutch grabs hard, making it much more jerky. My OE clutch was starting to slip a tad at WOT when cold so I decided to swap it out. It also cured the cold clutch shudder that is so common. I figured there was no point trying to fix that with more of the same, hence the upgrade.

Overall, a great upgrade, especially if you drive it hard.

Default Cobb & ACT

I'm still waiting for a response, but I could have swore that on Cobb's site it said that they use ACT parts for the clutch kit. I don't really know, I'm just sure I read it on Cobb's site. I ordered the Cobb kit and flywheel. I'll let everyone know how it is in about 2 or 3 weeks. (Gotta do some test driving first.)
