Subaru Stars Advance auto parts oil cooler kit

I was looking through advance auto parts to see how much they charge for oil coolers and low and behold they have a oil cooler kit that comes with The oil cooler which is 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 12 , hoses, the adapter and the cooler mounting hardware all for 78 bucks. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried this set up. It sounds a little too good to be true but for 78 bucks it's worth a shot.

they leak oil....they will leak no matter what you end up doing, the only way to properly install an oil cooler so that it is leak free is by using a sandwich adapter, AN Fittings and a core that allows for the use of AN fittings

i doubt that kit comes with the sandwich adapter for the subaru. when i was putting mine together several years back, it took some digging to find the correct size adapter.

-AN fittings and braided lines are a definite plus.

Well I figured I'd check out the kit they offer to see what it comes with, the quality and whatnot and then make a decision from there. I'm sorta on a tight budget with a lot of the mods i want to get done soon. I'll let you know how it goes with the kit if it looks alright

oh and i believe the sandwich adapter in each kit depends on your car so i think it will fit. but of course there's not guarantee hahaha
