As noted in the message heading, I just finished installing a hydra on an 05 STI and everyhting seemed OK until I took the c
ar out for a spin. The first thing I noticed was that the throtttle did not seem very responsive and lacked crispness. Almost like there was a 1 second lag before the throttle responded. I did make sure that I calibrated the throttle before testing and verrified that these settings were OK. In fact they were. The other thing I noticed is that when I shut the car off it seems to sputter a bit before turning off. Almost like an older carburetored car with a sticky throttle or choke. What adjustments should I look into to fix my throttle response issue and the rough shutdown issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Last edited by syoung0298; 07-09-2005 at 08:48 AM. |
