I would like to take my VW...However, I'm still waiting on a wiper kit (rain=bad) and for my front grille to be installed (I don't want to take a rock to the rad).
Stupid rain .
When is the next one? Is it every Wednesday?

Today is the last Wed. Test and Tune for the Season.

The 13th is the Last Street Performance day of the season as well, go figure.

But you can test and tune any of the days there is races...

As much rain as Anchorage and Eagle River got, it was suprisingly dry at the track today. No new times to update...yet. I'm still getting back in practice, but my new best trap speed is 101.58mph, so with some lower 60' times, I might be a 13.1, even a 13.0, when I come out the next time.

Wow, every thread I go to all I see is Justin, Justin, and more Justin with a hint of Chris. I don't mean to be a dick! but you're digging yourself a deeper hole. That's all I have to say and that's all I'm going to say.

Anyways, my car has been alky free for a good 2-3 weeks now and damn, that thing is just pullin'. Boost hits in 3rd gear and damn, there I go in my seat. It put a big smile on my face tonight, and it put one on Gilbert's yesterday lol. He said he felt sick to his stomach, so only the track will tell. I hate to say it, but I think the alky actually has hurt the power to my car. I thought it was adding more performance, but I doubt it without proper tuning. We'll see though when track day comes. I'll do a test with the HKS BOV, with the stock BOV, and with Sam's Toueline. Then after a good 2-3 weeks I'll turn back on the alky and see what the results are.

Yeah, that may have been the problem. Maybe the nozzle was too big. If I ever want to use the alcohol again, I need a new controller and a new nozzel. When turned on the controller decides to dump alcohol into my car, so I can't even use it. Yeah, I'm in love with the car again, finally after a good 7 months lol.

well i got the car down to the 13.3's, but was having trouble with too much wheel spin, i did manage to get her back up to 102 again, here that run's break down, you can see the amout of wheel spin from the 60' time
60'...2.144
1/8et...8.774
1/8mph..82.55
1/4et...13.560
1/4mph..102.02

the track was cold and a little rain on it when we got started, which made getting outa the hole a real pita. took out a couple of v8's but lost to a red early chevy p/u of course it had a big block and was supercharged and was trapping from 105 to 108mph,also lost to sparky a couple of times, not by much of course, put in 29 passes out there so she was pretty heatsoaked, should have let her cool off more than once.
