No, don't worry, it isn't filing for bankruptcy. Just that according to some Japanese sources Fuji Heavy Industries will officially change their name to Subaru in July of 2003 when they celebrate the company's 50th anniversary. Here's a summary of the Japanese news piece:

"President Takenaka Kyouji annouced clearly in today's Mainichi Newspaper that, Fuji Heavy Industries, Ltd. aims to change the company name to 'Subaru' in July of 2003 which marks the company's 50th anniversary."

I guess we won't see the coolly labelled Fuji heavy Industries Aerospace Division carbon fibre strut bars anymore in 2003. They will simply be STi strut bars, how boring
