Default Cobb Accessport

so i asked cobb if i could run the accessport with my setup:

borla catback
full K&N shortram intake

the guy recomended to use the stock intake. So i asked him why it would be better then my K&N. This is what he wrote me:

After market intakes tend to not flow consistently, and they tend to flow with turbulent air. This turbulent air is often not read properly by the air sensor in the intake. When the air cannot be calibrated, there is usually a loss in power. The stock intake is not a restriction on the Stage 1 and Stage 2 street tunes, and it will flow the more consistent over any aftermarket intake.

So now i am wondering why i changed or if it was worth it. Any input would be nice.
