Talking Tanabe Racing Medallion Catback WRX

I was a little worried at first about the exhaust looking and sounding like the typical Honda fart-can. But in my opinion the exhaust looks great on the WRX, as long as I can get myself to keep it shiny (any suggestions on products?). My 11 year old son and I put it on in about an hour, which I thought was pretty good for an exhaust novice. The exhaust w/o the silencer is pretty loud, but not a cheapo sounding rice loud, a really good boxer engine loud...but still loud. With the silencer it still sounds good and will keep me on the good side of the cops and the wife (though my son insists that we keep the silencer off, especially if I take him to school). I would love to see some exhaust dyno results as there is obviously an improvement here. While the gain is not earth-shattering, there is noticeably improvement in spooling and perhaps a few extra horses. I also noticed that most of the previous "hesitation" at WOT is gone. I cannot compare this exhaust with any other for the WRX, as this is the only one I have seen; but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a catback.
