Default Question for all...

Ok, you may have noticed I'm selling a few bits off my Legacy. I plan to sell the 98, and basically remove myself from all debt for the time being.

I have been giving some thought though, to keeping the EJ20 engine I have. It's a JDM 91 turbo EJ20. My thoughts(as of today, anyways), are to possibly, within a year or so, get another, cheaper Legacy.

I live in IL, and they do sniffer for pre96, and an OBD2 scan on all 96+ cars for emmisions. Obviously, the 91 computer wouldn't pass an OBD2 scan.

So, I might go for a pre 96 car later on, and turn it into a beast. But if you were in my shoes, what year would you get? And for what reason?

Obviously, I really wouldn't even need a car with a working engine, so that's not a relevant point here. But if I wanted a weekend cruiser, that could eat a stock WRX for breakfast, what would I go for?

Any and all comments are welcome, as I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do with this stuff right now. I don't think it would be terribly easy to sell this engine for what I'd like to get for it right now.
