Default OT Bridge Builders A little help please.

I need to build a very small, very sturdy, very cheap bridge.

Basically the creek I need to cross is about 6-7 feet from bank to bank.
I need the bridge to hold up to 500lbs crossing at any given time. It's a foot bridge and me+200lbs of gear.... is alot of weight, not to mention I'd like some room to work with and not stress the bridge out.

It's also next to the river, so I don't want to spend a ton of money in case it does flood and I have to rebuild.
I was thinking of hijacking two railroad ties, some shipping pallet's and some plywood. Basically lay the ties down with the pallet's on top and then make a walking surface with the plywood.

What's your thoughts OT? I can source numerous things for this project, Just throw the ideas there and I'll let you know if I can get materials cheap or free.
