Sup fellow Subie owners,
I was cursed by the construction gods last night and was presented with a nice fat nail in my tire. My question to the VIC community is, where do you take your tires to get nails removed and have the tire plugged up? Also, I am running the Yokohama A048 tire. I know some tires are not advised to be plugged, particularly the high performance tires. Instead, they should be treated by some other method. What should I do? I called Kal Tire who are distributors of Yoko tires and they said plugging it up was fine....but they also said that about my brother's Bridgestone SO3 tires and after plugging it up, all the other tire shops refused to service his tires because they said the SO3 tire is not a pluggable tire. I don't know. Insight please. TIA Justin |
