Question Fuel

Hey guys,
I am planning on getting the Tribeca, however I am debating because it appears (after I've done some research) that premium fuel is preferred. Can you tell me what fuel is everyone using?

well working at a subaru dealership subaru recommends premium for best performance.. if you dont want the best performance just use regular no biggie.. price wise i believe i had calculated it out.. paying .20 cents more per gallon at the end of a year going about 15000 miles a year it was less than $200 a year extra.. not too bad at all

My Tribeca runs fine on regular, but mileage and performance are better when using premium...just like any other vehicle. Remember that Subaru recommends, not requires, premium fuel for the Tribeca.

Don't let this stop you from purchasing an excellent vehicle!

Regards...Joe

I use Premium. Like only1agam, I don't see that it is that significant a difference in cost over a years time.

A full tank of premium will only set you back about a buck a tank over mid and maybe $1.50 over regular. I think you can splurge a little bit. If not, don't supersize next time you hit the McDonalds and you'll break even.

I have noticed ours runs better on premium. Maybe some of it is in my head, but I figure it's not that much $ over the course of a year.
