Thumbs up VDO 52mm Boost Gauge

Great product, especially at the price. Easy to install, accurate readings, and the right color backlighting. I've been very happy with its performance while using it.

There are two phases to this install:

- engine compartment
- cab

The install has been covered fairly thoroughly in numerous threads, so I'll just include some hints/tips/ideas/cautions to smooth out the bumps in the standard install instructions.

- take your time; things can break, get scratched, and ruined if you rush even this simple install

- the clear plastic tubing that comes with the VDO kit prefers warm temperatures, so try to accomodate it while installing; you'll reduce the possibility of seriously kinkin and/or breaking the tubing

- the engine should be warm at the most when you work around it; it's not fun and even potentially dangerous to wok on a hot engine

- run the tubing along OEM tubing, tucking it into the already supplied clips; this will keep the install neat, more OEM looking, and reduce the number of zip-ties that you'll use and have to vut off if you have to remove the tubing for whatever reason

NOTE: pics will be attached as soon as that option becomes available again
