Dexter, I enjoyed meeting you. Great job to you and Cobb Tuning on assembling a car that meets your needs! I probably would have given up and would be driving an auto-equipped Taurus.

+1000 Wow !

I give you much respect for continuing to live your life. It would be very hard if not impossible for me to be even half the man you are being in your shoes. The situation was unfortunate but you inspire me and other subie people.

The BS I deal with on a daily basis becomes very small when you hear a story like this.

Enjoy your car and life !

Got that right, I thought that too. Further proof that people need more vacations.

I thought I would post some pics of what got me in the wheelchair in the first place.

Here are some pics of my bike before and after my accident:

I second this, and other posts.

I know a bit what you are going through, I broke T-10 on a Yamaha 22 years ago. I was lucky in that I have "minor" injuries compared to you.

Congrats on keeping your head up, good to see your family and friends were/are there to help.

The response from COBB is about what I expected as I have been dealing with them for ~4 years and have met most of the long timers there.

As a funny side note, when you beat someone while driving (on a track, right? NO street racing!), you can pull up and say, "I really kicked your butt, and I can't even move my legs!"
