Default 2007 STi Limited vs. JDM Legacy Tuned-By-STi

I'm going to be putting together a comparison chart of the different pros and cons of the two cars but while i'm doing that, what do you have to say about each of them?

some things to consider:

- price tag
- sportiness factor
- luxury
- modification potential
- power/handling potential
- 'unique' factor (blame NFSU for coining the term)
- anything else that sets each car apart from each other and from other cars

IMO if the JDM Legacy-STi made its way to N.America I'd snatch it up over the STi limited. but that's just my opinion.

I'd take the Legacy Sti ove the STi limited in a heart beat. The only reason to get the STi limited is to look more sophisticated, the Legacy STi is more sophisticated than any impreza will ever be.

I don't know this to be absolutely true, but to have a car that looks grown-up, but the wagon option is why I did not get the STi to begin with (besides money...)

My car's not so much a sleeper now, but the Legacy...?

It's what I want after this car goes to the stepgirl

I like the legacy but the STi beats it in terms of performance. I took the limited over the spec b because I wanted no sacrifices in performance and the subtleness of the limited. The regular STi just screams "don't give me a raise" when you pull it into the parking lot.

i'd probably go for the legacy STi wagon, just because of the storage space AND performance combination.

the wagon just screams "take me to soccer" until you try to pass it.

That Legacy STi is awsome. They need to bring that or the Forrester STi to America. Maybe then people will stop thinking STi is only a type of Impreza or somthing. The other day some dude in a wrx STi drives past me and askes me what the "I" emblem on my car stands for. Everyone in my car laughs at him obnoxiously and then i tell him it stands for impreza, Its the name of the car you have..... and i drive away. that bastard should not be driving that car.

Well since you can only drive one of them on the streets here in the states, the handsdown winner would have to be STi limited.

What an odd question.

fingers and toes crossed it'll make its way here for 2008.

I was looking at the aussy subaru sight the other day. They have some nice cars on that sight. Spec C type Ra, Legacy Spec B, Sti- Along with the prices. I would have to say I wish they would bring the wrx sti wagon across the pond. But there is going to be a whole new design for 08 alot of people think it will look like the peugot 206 rally car. I suppose we have to wait for the spy photos.
Not much room to vote here there are alot more sti cars then just those two.

Something to think about. There are no other wagons that are sporty except the magnum from dodge. So maybe subaru will step up and compete with that car? We can only hope.

Subaru would absolutely own dodge in the sporty wagon, even more so in the north east, if they brought either the WRX STi wagon or the Legacy WRX wagon.

IMO the Legacy STi is far prettier then the STI limited. I don't know why, but the WRX STi is just ugly to me without the wings and whatnots. It's like... you're trying to take something that wasn't meant to be refined looking and make it refined looking. The legacy, on the other hand, was already refined looking, and the STi version just gives it that slightly more aggressive look that works very well for it.

Between these two, I'd take the Legacy. But I'd take a normal STi over either of them any day.
