reddevil Scooby Guru Member#: 64673 Join Date: Jun 2004 Chapter/Region: NWIC Location: portland Vehicle: 1990 Legacy wagon goes 12.387 @ 116.5	Why CANT I use STI rods and pistons in a 2.5 phase 1 block? I know there is an answer out there, but I coulnd find it under the "search" tab"......... I bought NEW pistons and rods from a take out of a built STI for $50..... I have a phase 1 2.5 block and heads...... All I know at this point is that STI rods are almost identical to 1990-94 NA 2.2 rods... really.
