I'm running them right now. They've been on the car for about 2k miles and I'm very happy with them. As I'm sure you know, they're coated, which gives me plenty of peace of mind knowing bare metal isn't rubbing on bare metal. These lines, coupled with the Motul fluid I'm running are and excellent setup, IMHO.

One other thing: We don't sell junk. If I didn't believe in the product strongly enough to put in on my own car, I wouldn't sell it. And trust me, there's plenty of products I have tried and rejected over the years. --Dan Mach V FastWRX.com |

You offer wise caution Tom, but when it comes to stuff that Mach V sources out....I'd stake my life on what Dan sells. On my mental list of Unabomber Approved Vendors®, his shop is in the top 10 and I trust him so much that if he came out with Mach V airbags, I'd swap out my OEM ones and drive into a bridge abutment to test them. That may be going overboard, but you get me sense of trust....

i got mine installed today. the ends go on fine. the center brackets that secure the lines are a little off, front and rear. washers will fix the fronts. on the rear, you have to pinch the bracket on the strut housing to crimp around the piece that holds the line in place. not 100% oe style bolt in, but they do work. and already i can feel my brakes are a lot firmer.
fitment 8/10, performance 10/10, price 11/10. |

nkx, glad you're happy with 'em. Thanks for the mini-review. We've actually noticed that on those retaining pieces too, and plan to change them eventually. It's not anything critical, but it'd be nice if they were EXACTLY 100% OEM fit. --Dan Mach V FastWRX.com |

I got them, and they work just fine. They are nice and cheap and they are coated. Best of all, I think, is that the mounts to the struts can be moved so that you can position the line as you like for adequate clearence.

They are a great piece. I got them instead of the Goodridge since they are coated and figured if there were going to be fitment issues it might as well be with a better overall piece. Fitment was a bit off, but nothing a file wasn't able to take care of in about 5 minutes (the clips were too small in the middle). The difference in brake feel was immediately apparent however, and they look great under there as well, which is an added bonus.

Just put these on today and fronts went on fine, years had a problem, had to ghetto rig it to the stock location. The c-clips they sent with it just didn't work so I used the stock one and zip ties just in the rears. Had some ATE blue with it, looking good so far. Going to have to drive it around good tomorrow and see how it feels. Look= great, fitment=needs improvement, function=to be determined.
Edit: Working great, pedal feels great. Way better response than I had before. Would definitely recommend them. Last edited by noktrnal1; 06-09-2010 at 06:46 PM. |

I bought my lines second hand and they have worked extremely well. So well in fact that my calipers were hung from them for a couple a months and not a single drop of brake fluid and no signs of a leak.
I still using the same lines and they are still holding up with my autocrossing and tracking. |
