Does anyone have pictures of the Phase 1, 2.5L engine? Also, the internet is full of reports where there were premature failures of head gaskets on this engine. I have tried to work with Subaru on a premature failure and they refused. A couple of years have passed and I am still not happy with what happened. There are a number of references to potential lawsuits for design defect on the internet. Is anyone aware of a a lawsuit being filed on the Phase 1 (even small claims would be fine) and what happened? My mechanic says there was a design defect. Do those in the forum have information on the design defect and instances where Subaru has actually stepped up to the plate on the Phase I 2.5L head gasket problem?
I loved Subarus up until this car and how Subaru handled this. Help appreciated. Last edited by Hovmerlin; 02-11-2007 at 11:50 AM. Reason: mistake |
