Default MY 06 Fuel Cutting?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone on here can help me figure exactly what is causing me to get fuel cut, on my 2006 wrx. The only mods I have are HKS BOV, HKS downpipe and HKS Exhaust, with an AEM cai. IT'll only do it when I'm reaching about 4500 rpm and then I hit fuel cut? Anyone know why or how to fix this problem. I've done some research and I've heard and seen a couple solutions. I've heard I have to get the ECU reflashed, but I my warrenty might be voided because of the DP, and exhaust. So if anyone knows reasons why I'm getting this, or solutions to how to fix this problem of mine, please let me know. Thanks guys.

If you dont have engine managment then that would be a good place to start. Your prob blowing a check engine light when you hit high RPMs? Code I think reads P0244 Wastegate door ( or something like that ). That due to not having your car tuned to the modifications you've done. When you put aftermarket parts on your car they need to be tuned or else your not gonna achieve the proformance your looking for.

I know you probably don't wanna hear it but.....

Start by taking off the AEM CAI and put the stock airbox back on.

Next, get engine management so it can help the ECU compensate for the exhaust modifications you've done to your car. The 04+ are way more sensitive to modifications than previous model years. Cobb Accessport can be found used for quite cheap in the classifieds and is recommended for simplicity's sake.

If this doesn't clear up the problem then put you stock bypass valve back on.

Finally, Read all of Unabomber's FAQs and Manifesto's, you'll learn all the do & do nots. Not to be a jerk, but you've already done quite a few "do nots" for our cars.

I almost want to say that it is 100% your Blow off valve! Take it off put stock one back on...disconnect your battery for a little bit(so ecu will reset) then connect it back and see if that works! just my .02 though

Dump the useless BOV and CAI.

Get some engine management for the exhaust before you REALLY break something.

If you're worried about the silly warranty then DON'T MOD THE CAR!!!!

RESEARCH BEFORE YOU MOD!!!

the same happened to my car....get the engine management and if your BOV is not recirculated then do so....ALSO tape some of your CAI or put the stock box back on...

in the long run you will damage somthing without engine management....but for now...do this...or what the guys above me said...
