Default should I paint my brake calipers red or black?

installing new brakes soon, and I want to repaint the calipers and brackets before installing them. which color would you go with? flashy visible red or a more subtle black? I have gold wheels if that makes a difference.

post pics of examples if you have any

I think red looks good, but if you want stealth/sleeper then go for black.

There! How's that for helpful?

I've decided to do the calipers red, and the non-friction surfaces on the rotors black. Thanks for the inputs.

It all depends on your opinion of what you want. I did red last year, but now when its all sunny n stuff i'm most likely going to go with black. Looks a bit cleaner, and my rims are black too,

Use a couple different blends of colors derived from your brake disc, make it so from a distance you don't appear to have calipers. Don't run with the crowd and being like everyone else, be different.
