2005 Subaru Brakes Under Warranty?

So, I know that the 07's have their wear and tear type items under warranty for 36k. The 07 booklet even points out that it does cover items such as wiper blades, clutch linings, and brake pads. In the 2005 booklet, they do not say specifically what is covered (it does say entire vehicle). Anyway... does anyone know if brake pads are covered? Mine are hitting the squeal strip.

They are covered but only for normal wear and tear and only up to a certain mileage.

They fall under the 3/36,000 wear and tear warranty

Nice. I wasnt sure if that applied to the 05 warranty or not. I am going to have to set up an appointment tomorrow.

Wear items are 3/36 starting with 02 MY.
