Best part of this post.

It was definitely needed, thanks Davenow

BTW- With DiabolicalCC banned, does that mean we can get SiC banned too?

Could we please ban people who appear to be brain dead stoners who can't spell, punctuate, or write beyond the first grade level? I get so tired of:

"dude, i have a probleme with my idel on my injecturs. the fule isnt workin rite. can u help mee? wierd, huh?"

We may be getting off topic here with the spelling/punctuation rants, but I'll play along.

I'm guilty of occasionally pounding out a response on my Treo smartphone (which is not very smart at all) only to go back and read it afterwards and see I missed a key, but I'll go back and edit it when I do catch it. These keys are seriously tiny and don't always respond, but that is why I make it a habit to proof my own posts. I wish the spell-check was available in the WAP gateway of the NASIOC forums (http://wap.nasioc.com

Well, now that you have singled out a few people that you percieve as a morons, lets here your take on every thread in here...

See This Thread http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1218847

I am sure that with your massive amount of Subaru knowledge, you can answer everyones questions here for them...
I guess everyone here should bow down to your knowledge and lack of respect for others opinions as well...

I never claimed to be a Subaru expert, and will never be one...
I also don't tell people to do things that will damage the engine...
The answers I give people are my opinion, based on years of experience with many different engine designs...
Am I always right??? Nobody ever is, thats the way it works, and that includes you as well...

The point of these forums is to learn from other people...
Like I said, I am not an "Expert", but I am experienced...

I guess I will have to read all of you posts, and bash you if you post something that is not 100% correct...

But that isn't me. I have more respect for other peoples opinions than you ever will...

Next time you feel the urge to bash someone, let it go...

You have obviously missed the point of Dave's post. If you don't agree with it, quit posting in it...take your own advice.

Being new to the subie itself as well as working on turbo cars, any misinformation I recieve would definitely be catastrophic. Glad to see that the bad info is being combatted here (even though I check 3-4 sources ATLEAST for a consensus before I decide anything) Good work guys.

So, am I to understand that this forum is the kind that is very unfriendly towards noobs? Yeah, there are stupid people, but you gotta start somewhere. Hopefully you'll give a guy a chance to ask a noob question every now and then until he proves he's a troll and then I'm all for hitting him with the ban stick. Just please don't bash the noobs simply because they're noobs.

Yeah that sucks. You shouldnt ever be afraid to ask.

The biggest problem we have is people answering posts, who really shouldnt be answering them. Giving out REALLY bad info and such.

Basically ask, then read ALL the replies, and you can get a feel for who knows and who doesnt USUALLY. The problem is sometimes someone makes it REALLY look good, like they definately know what they are talking about, but they dont, and they end up giving out really bad info.
I just had that happen about 2 min ago. Im not sure what we have to do to make people understand that when you give out bad info, you are harming the entire purpose of this newbie forum.

I personally think they should regulate who is able to reply to posts in the newbie forum. A lot of people buy a subaru, read nasioc for 2-3 weeks, install a cai, and decide that they are an expert on everything subaru
