This is the latest project.

lets see.... LS/VTEC is B18 block w/ B16/B18-VTEC head, moreso the B16 if I'm correct. Normally it's Civic Si's that do this block upgrade to get a .2L's of displacement. But then you have Integra LS's that slap on a B16 head and voala, VTEC! And B16 head has better flow, aside from valvetrain difference from the B18 ITR head.
For us Subarus, this would be not a 2.0L, but a 2.2L. The WRX heads are ported, so it's a higher flowing head and it's slapped onto a bigger than normal Subaru turbo engine; 2.2L. The 2.5L would be more like Honda's H22. SO.... it's the infamous EJ22T('91 w/ oil cooler) w/ PORTED '03 WRX heads(shimless). The TGV's are also ported to release some more TOP-END power. I'm not sure how much power capable this is...but I'd call this my medium setup opposed to my light setup (STOCK complete EJ22T engine w/ TD04L/TMIC/headerback boosting at 15psi w/ MBC). My light setup yield me 178whp and 244wtq and was quick enough to run w/ a stock EVO9 in my little wagon. |

Should be good for plenty of power. That EJ22t is a glutton for boost. Should be good for easy 300whp.

blaahh try like 400+..you can hit 350 with an open deck and it will hold up IMO..

Without a PERFECT tune, you can easily bend the rods on an EJ22T block with anything over 350whp. Open or closed deck is not the end all determining factor here. Do a search and you will find some really ugly bent rod pictures...
