Am I crazy for wanting to trade my 05 WRX wagon for an OBS to transform into a GF8?

..its funny you should ask..........yes it is a Porsche code. "Carrara" white. Same as used on the Cup Cars. Yes spelled Carrara, NOT Carrera. The guy as the Porsche dealer tried to correct me, as I went to the car and pulled out a Porsche Cup book that is offered from Porsche !!

Yeah it is super white. Like in that picture it is SOOO dirty too. Covered in dust etc.

Nope !! Its an addiction. Seeing the love Fuji Heavy showed with the Gc/GF series is what put them where they are now.....except somewhere along the way they ALL bumped their heads.

It just looks a lot brighter than my "Pure White" L model. I was into aircooled flat-4s and flat-6s long before I ever took a look at Subarus. I think white with blacked out fender and bumper indicators looks great. Like below.

Kind of like how on the Porsche there is no amber colored vents or turn indicators. It's just white with black accents. Looks really clean.

This is MY00 LS wagon....coverted to EJ25 n/a + 00 Euro GT tranny, Sti V.5 springs, KYB AGX, STi exhaust, WRX brakes...and more...

Not much done to the exterior in order to keep things "quiet".

I agree, I like the blacked out look. seems to break it up nicely.

My ones above still blink orange, they just have 3 coats of black Tamiya model lacquer.

Yes it looks good. I've been planning on doing the same to my white GC8 ever since I saw a white GT3. So nice.

And now some from its first outing at the track with the new cage... it had a few teething problems where I had obvioulsy messed a few things up re-installing the dash and stuff... Very unfinished in these track photos

I don't know about all the body chrome, but I really like this car.

Indeed, the OEM chrome job is out of place....and it also had the OE Momo steering wheel with wood trim, and the center console was trimmed in wood as well.....not that many non-chrome ones lying around in here in Taiwan.

About 35kg more than the sedan and about 20kgs more that the coupe (STI coupe not sure about USDM coupe as the STI coupe gets alot of seem welding and heavier rear diff etc)

Most current I have of my girl. Still waiting on getting it back from a rear disc swap and throwing Stock lights on cause... I dont want to talk about it.... And yes it's an OBS and yes the body kit will be sticking black/white. You'll see where I'm going when I get it back. Till then.
