Update on my return

well guys i've started the process to get the hell out of the army and by the looks of it the lady told me anywhere from 3-4 months until the process is completed. Then after that time frame i can choose my ets (day i get out) date from 30-90 days. so im looking to be outta here and back home by march. Planning on buying a house out in buckeye and calling it a day.

we ditched gordons
meet up at fox sports then migrate over to the yardhouse.
usually about 10-15 cars there

... Why Buckeye? Traffic on the 10 is getting worse, and worse. Take a look in Goodyear... it's starting to turn into a hell of a town, and I snagged a spec last July in Canyon Trails for dirt cheap.

City Center's only about 2 years away... you guys around here keeping an eye on this? It's going to be the tits.

The homebuilders put up not only the houses that people order, customize, etc, but also build some with all kinds of different options, perks, etc. They're brand new houses sitting there, empty, ready to go. Thanks to the market grenading, there's a lot of them. Come March it'll probably be the same, the way things are going. Find a good realtor and she/he'll get you the deals. There's a few good guys on SWIC that are realtors and will chime in aaaany second

Whats City Center? I live on Dysart and SR-85.

Take as much terminal leave as possible. It will be a big help to you having the steady income while you get settled and look for a job. Then if you get a job early, youll have two paychecks for a while.

I dont know what you did in the Army or if you had any medical issues, maybe related from tours in the Sand Box, but you NEED to go to the VA hospital and get checked out as soon as possible. That way any problems that were caused by service will be covered 100 percent. Trust me on this, it will save you much heart ache if you need it down the road.

yeah im getting meb'd for ptsd. i was still debating because idc if they give me disability or not from the army cuz they're still giving me severance which is enough to take away all my bills and still have a good chunk left over. but i did hear that va won't pay you disability until you pay that severance pay back. i don't know how true that is but eh gotta get in and talk to someone about it. No christian no crab..they pinch im not tryin to get messed up even more. well maybe i could blame that on the army and get more diability???lol

it is true...... you dont get any benefits from the VA untill the amount of severence you got is paid off. kind of a crappy deal imho.
but i had to deal with it all the time while i was in the marines. (i worked in finance and computed severance when people got out)
