West Houston Area Meet 12/22/07

Hey guys, some of my buddies are doing a meet over in Katy, Texas. It's not a HUGE one, but it's great if you want something to do that night. All the information is on this link:

THIS MEET IS NOT SUBARUS ONLY. All cars are welcome. Hope to see you out there. If you for sure know you are going to attend, PM me so I can let the guys running it know. I am new here, as you can see, but I'm going to be there and would love to meet other Subie owners.

Your meeting at orient cafe

...

Their food sucks (compared to China Inn)...but i guess you meet where you can be allowed

Plus Katy meets have a life expectancy of about 2-3 times before the owners call you guys off there property (most of the time deserved)

Edit: well actually that sounds a bit harsh what i just said, It's been a while since I've dealt with anyone car wise in Katy besides subies, but a couple years back when I did left a bad taste in my mouth (maybe there are more mature older people there these days)

OOO... green protege aye? I met you before, I forgot you were out in the Katy area, enjoying your WRX? (I met you in Houston, i was with Tank[who definitely won't make it out, alaska plane tickets too much]

I actually met a few friends out there last weekend. It was cool, not a very big crowd and no one was acting like idiots. If I'm in town, I may stop by.

I know EXACTLY what you mean! I was the one who tried to get Dunn Bros back up and going and it got called off again. According to my friends, they have the owner of the lot's permission to be there. So we should not get kicked unless idiots show up. I am with you on the food answer, but I like Orient Cafe as well.

I don't remember you from the Houston meet, but I'm sure I would remember your car.

I understand the bad taste, I've had that for a littlw while too, but we do this XMAS meet every year it seems and it is usually a great turnout.

I did a RWD conversion this weekend, maybe I'll come by and do some burnouts.

Does sound like fun, Just finished my upgrades too on my 03 wrx....I am new to the whole CAR MEETS thing, but i am sure everyones awesome out there, by what I hear..

That's great man. The next meet is this coming Saturday (1/9/08) at Orient Cafe in Katy. It's off SH 99 (Grand Parkway). You should head out if you want. Last time we had a HUGE turnout. Hope to see you out there.

Why didn't you say you liked China Inn sooner!!! Man if you guys were coming over to Cypress, you could meet up at my China Inn Cafe. I am the assistant manager and part owner, so for sure you wouldn't get kicked out for a long while. Look for me in my Blue as hell '05 Rex...wish I could be there, I have to close down the restaurant that night.

HHH ain't the kind of meet they're looking for... don't point people looking for a typical parking-lot meet to HHH, it sucks for them and us. HHH is about almost everything else -except- looking at cars in a parking lot.
