Castle Rock's Steve Knight will be in his #30 LMP675 MG Lola at Le Mans this weekend. The team is based in Cenntenial during the off season and Atlanta when they are racing. The team finished second in class at the 24 Hours of Daytona and qualified on the Pole at Sebring earlier this year. BTW I am leaving for the race on Thursday. Because it took forever for the credentials to get approved my trip will be brutal. Flights to France are $4,000.00 so I have to fly to London, take a train to Portsmouth, Fast Ferry to Cherbourg (Normandy) rental car to the circuit and back again! 96 hours of traveling, 16 hours of sleeping, 24 hours of racing! I do get to drive Richard Burns' 206 though! Rental agent said it's just like his car except it has 300 less horsepower, 2 wheel drive and no roll cage! Oh well!
