Folding rear seats in an STi?

I have searched and can't find anything related to what I've mentioned in the title.

I was wondering if it's possible to fit folding rear seats from another subaru model into my '05 STi? It would be much more convenient to have a 60/40 or 50/50 folding rear seat option.

Please let me know if you know if this is possible or has been done.

Try looking into the Canadian STi rear seats, I believe that they fold down.....

Mine's an '05 from the US, but I know other Cdn STi's don't have the fold down option. They only have a pass through/armrest for the rears.

You could get an Impreza or Legacy split seat, but it would look goofy until you reupholstered it. Even then, it will never fit perfect.

I don't think that anything will look right. However, the '07 STi has a pass-through.

I would plan on reupholstering any seat used in place of mine, but was wondering if anybody has had success with such a modification? if so, pics please.
