I need more TIME!

Default why is my steering still hard to turn?

ok I have done EVEYTHING I can think of to bleed air from my system in my 98 2.5rs...( I swapped out the PS pump with a JDM version)

when I have the front end jacked up the wheel turns effortlessly... (initialy I tried bleeding it with the wheels on the ground)
I take the PS reservoir cap off, turn the steering wheel slowly (probably 4 rpm) lock to lock about 3 times, then start the car and continue to turn the wheel lock to lock another 10 cycles. I let it sit for half a hour, and repeated...

the car is STILL hard to turn !!!

what the hell did am I doing wrong ???

If the belt was slipping I would hear it correct ?

there is a Connector on the JDM pump that my Impreza does not have, I just left it chillin... what is this for ??

the car worked PERFECTLY before I changed the pump

I think your JDM pump needs to be wired to provide you power steering.

I had a similar issue with mine after i installed my inlet.

I ended up having to crack the banjo bolt while turning the wheel and bleed it until i saw a steady flow and had someone re-tightened it.

Don't know why i had to do it. But, its the only thing that get all the air out of the PS line to the pump.
