hey guys, whilst I have not been a very active poster on here, i have been a member of nasioc for a couple of years now and traded with people from the States to my home in Australia. Never had a problem with any transactions which include at least 8 unichips. I Purchased a TurboXS unichip and paid for it via paypal on the 28th of March and cleared on the 3rd of April, pm was recieved by the seller acknowledging payment had been received this was on the 04-03-2008 at 11:34 AM. A further message by the seller said that the item had been shipped on the 3rd of April this message was received on the 04-04-2008 at 11:37 AM. The date today is Monday the 5th of May and I still have not received the item. I have sent numerous emails regarding the item and the response has been that it is still in transit. This is impossible as nothing takes this long to be shipped. When asked for a refund of my money my request was declined and I was told by the seller to take it up with the post office to get my refund. I have not received the goods I have paid for. The amount I paid was $120.00USD which in the description of payment was for a turboxs unichip in perfect working order. My question is do I name and shame him now or do i wait until my item dispute through paypal has been completed? he is ignoring my PM's now and seems very un co-operative.
its a shame that my faith in trading overseas with people of Nasioc has been ruined by one bad egg. pete

Just FYI, it's taken more then a month for many parts i've ordered from out of country to get to my home. I think you need to be patient and wait a few more weeks. A month isn't long enough for your item to get to Alaska or Australia or from Alaska to Australia. So don't be a dick and wait a bit. Once you accuse a member you can't take it back. Where are you posting from anyway? You posted in the Alaska forum but you say you're in Austraila?

If its sent by the post then it can take up to a month to recieve an item.
I also live in australia, Perth infact and it took 1 month to recieve a throttle body from a member there. If the item was shipped on the 3rd of this month then its only the 5th and remember that the U.S is 1 day behind australia.. Be patient, imo |

cant you get some sort of tracking number so you can physically see where the package is?
it took me 2+ weeks to get my exhaust shipped from Cali to CT, thats in the same coutnry so its possible that its just taking a long time for you i wouldnt accuse anyone of screwing you yet, because once you do you cant take it back, im guessing though that it will only be a matter of time until the seller sees this thread and calls himself out by posting his story |

The guy that has the money needs to f'in communicate back.
![]() You take someones money...you need to keep the communication lines open! C'mon!! The least the guy could do is help find out where the Unichip is for crying out loud!! The hairs on the back of my neck would be standing up too if someone f'in blew me off with a, "...take it up with the post office!" statement! O/P if you never get your stuff, post up the name and he will get fed to the OT. We have to at least make the effort to keep the bad apples out of the bunch and away from NASIOC. ![]() |

it is the buyer's responsibility to pay, the seller has the rest.
the sell must insure the package gets to the buyer. if it never arrives, they are responsible for making finding out what happened to it/filing the insurance if there is any (some shipper's only the seller can make a claim)/reimburse the buyer when appropriate. file your paypal dispute, and if he has no proof of shipping/tracking number/whatnot, it probably will be decided in your favor. I can't imagine why people would ship something without insurance these days. thats why i refuse to even use USPS. I've filed one before with a buyer that had next to no communication and a huge delay. It took almost a month to get the item, but it seems like filing the claim was the only thing that got his lazy butt moving. But it was the only time i've even gotten a product after a dispute, mostly its just refunds. |

Don't stress too much. Paypal won't play around. A friend of mine had an item disputed against him and paypal pulled all his funds out of his bank account until it was settled.

Please post in the ORIGINAL transaction thread, and include any emails, PMs etc between you and the seller. If there is no response after a reasonable time you can report the thread using the "report post" button and we will review the thread and if warranted move it to the scammer section.
