Wirelessly posted (SAMSUNG-SGH-T629/T629UVFG8 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 NetFront/3.2)
i have an 02, and leave my lights on all the time. Is this normal? Do bulbs dim as they age?

Ah, weird. i thought bulbs were 'on or off', didn't realize they dim. I buffed out my hazy lenses, looks MUCH better. I guess I need new bulbs.

I have never heard this before, nor seen it to be the case. Interesting if it is true. I agree with ProDrive, your lenses are probably pretty hazed and pitted by now. Buy some lense polish, the stuff really does work.

throw a layer of wax on those, they will look EVEN better and itll help protect them from UV hazing now that the SOMEWHAT effective UV coating that comes from the factory has been buffed out.
and yes over time headlights will dim before they die. 2 years seems kind of arbitrary though as it does not take into account the amount of usage said bulbs have gotten. but yeah every manufacturer recommends replacement BEFORE they die on you. |

yeah i remember hearing this on a tv show or reading it in a magazine. they compaired it to brake fluid... after time it starts to diminish, and needs to be replaced about every two years. sure yo can get away without doing it, but you will get better results if you do. |
