Well!! A special thanks for the people that showed up from out of town!! Kevin and Mary, you guys were real cool!! Hope you had a good time, and I hope your stay in Corpus gets better! Go see a baseball game!! Corpus Christi is gonna play...guess who...Frisco!! My wife is lovin' it! She won't know who to root for.

We broke the record of 5 Subies in a meet...by two!!!
Funny thing is, out of the seven of us, I believe only two are Corpus natives.
Eitherway! I had fun, as I hope everyone else did, too! See y'all at the next meet!

Keith and I had a great time getting out and meeting some new people. You guys be sure to stop by the next time you are in Frisco. Funny, we went downtown to the piers yesterday for lunch and spotted a TON of Subies.. but all Outbacks. We left a few TXIC cards to say hello.
Again, Thanks for having us. it was a blast.

just wanted to drop in and say hello. Keith and I are praying that all will be OK with the storm coming in. I saw on the news that it's getting stronger. Like I said in the Houston thread, if any of you guys feel the need to come up this way you are more than welcome to stay with us. Good Luck

I haven't had a chance to see the reports, but I'm pretty sure wwill be okay. *as he knocks on wood...again*

I'm down for the 6th... We just got back from The GC meet. And I guess I'll keep the scoop on to show ya. The wing isn't coming off though. Joey was because he was one of the only one with the smaller wing the last day...

Any meets coming up? I just moved down here from San Antonio in February and would love to meet some of the Subaru owners here in town. I'm located in Calallen but will be start school at Del Mar on the 25th for night classes for welding. If anyone has seen a maroon and silver 97 Legacy Outback then yall have seen me. Give me a call when there will be another meet. I'm looking for folks who can help me out with mods and such. 210-445-9402 (Cell)

Pics!!

Hey JMac! Welcome to the Coastal Bend! I'm sure we can do something here in the next few weeks. I work retail, and BTS is in full swing right now.
I'm sure we can come up with something within two weeks! How's a Wednesday nite sound to you?

Depends on which Wednesday night. I start night classes at Del Mar on the 25th and go 5 nights a week. Also depends on the time. Weekends are free for me tho. Anyone know the guy with the black STI thats covered in racing stickers?

How come yall don't have meets on Friday nights or Saturday nights? Holding them on Saturday nights would allow more members to make the meetings since most work weekdays or are light me and will be working weekdays and going to school on weeknights. Saturday's would be a lot better for many members.

Welcome to CC J.McDonanld! We tried to hold it on a Saturday night, but the same 3 or 4 people would show up, alot of the people that have Subies work/worked on the weekends. Though we have'nt tried a Sat night meet in a while so I think we're due ,but we did recently break our previous car meet record by 1 car for a total of 6 (but two were from out of town) Also the CC Subie scene is not very big compared to alot of the other towns, probably about 10 people (thats being REALLY generous for CC) are active on these boards so dont expect too much excitment Nice Legy btw, were those turbo'ed from the fact or was the scoop for looks like the RS's?

Once again welcome to CC and watch this thread for upcoming meets. I think we're gonna try a Sat night meet this time. Also here's a pic of MyRad's(blue) and I (silver) GC's, flash the high beams if you see us

It was just for looks. When I do the STi engine swap I'm gonna do a FMIC and get a new hood that has no scoop. Make it a bit of a sleeper until someone asks whats under the hood. If yall don't see me respond before the date of the meet please give me a call and let me know the location and time. Saturday night meets would probably be the only time I could make it as long as school is in session.
