No, but it helps. I believe that you have to modify the US bumper beam, the JDM cover is not a direct bolt on unless you use the JDM beam. I think there's a write-up on Scoobymods.com. The JDM beam is much lighter too, good weight reduction.

John2.5RS, you wouldnt happen to have any of your wiring information would you?

Im stuck because the 02-03 USDM wrx pinout says that the main fuse relay (light green wire) goes to A6- and the JDM v8 ecu A6 definatly says it goes to the AC according to what Ive gathered.

John2.5RS, did you use all of the STI steering components (including the wider STI control arms and rear lateral links)? If so, did you have to make any modifications to get things to fit properly? Did you have to roll your rear fenders for the wheels to fit under there? How wide are those wheels?

The CF looks great, as you said, it has to be blended in, I personally think you're making a really cool car, my concern was the front end as it had no CF on it, the CF theme ended at the doors, but with the front lip and the scoop, I think it'll look excellent. Great job keeping the work documented here with pics and everything.

You need the JDM bumper beam for the STI sport (22b look) front bumper, the JDM v.5/6 front fits the US bumper beam.

I don't have any of the wiring info, That's one thing I sent out, I've done enough re-wiring jobs that I didn't feel like doing it myself, It was easier to send it out while I focused on the wrenching.

I used a GC8 turbo front subframe, with the RS steering column and rack w/ GC8 AL front control arms, so it maintained the GC steering geometry. the rear fenders are rolled and pulled, they're 8" wide wheels, +46 offset. I currently have 225/35/18 tires, going to try out 225/40/18, hope to help cure the wheel spin issues at high boost in 1st and 2nd.

Here's some new pictures. Got a new Helmet, and an Iridium-tinted lens for it.

I'm also getting a list together of some more track-oriented things I need to get.

Tested out the new Helmet Sat. Aug. 16th @ Firebird West. Had a great time, the new helmet is lighter and more comfortable, and the tinted lens was a big plus!
(Of course, you can't see it pasts all 6'5" of Evan's tall a$$ riding shotgun!!)

planning on testing out the New Dunlop tires (Dirreza Z1 Star spec, 225/40/18), should be back out on the track either next month or Nov., weather permitting. Also should have my new battery and racing gloves by then as well.
