Hey Clint,

At the Subaru Challenge I offered you the data from my corner weighting done on my SVX last year when I installed the coilovers (Ground Control/Koni Yellows). Excel spreadsheet you might be interested in. Lemme know.

Clint

About a year ago I installed Koni inserts and springs in a local members car and I guess it helped him alot on corner roll for autoX.

For more info shoot letitsnow a pm, I am sure he will answer any questions you may have.

Nice ride, hopefully you got the package that we sent you. If not it will arrive shortly.

Jay-R, Clint and I have already discussed plenty on the SVX Network. FWIW, those springs did not help as much as I'd anticipated - certainly not enough for autocross, so I replaced them with GC coilovers.

Your contributions are appreciated, but I can speak for myself.

Just weighed mine at the drags tonight. just dropping out the spare with me in it. 3720lbs. Lighter than I was expecting to see but still not a GC chasis. Best run of the night was 16.005@88.54mph if that gives you any standing points to look at.

I need control arm bushings!!! My caster is off, and that's the likely cause...

...besides, having urethane units in there should help stiffen things up a bit.

While you still have the auto tranny (I believe you still do, right?), install a Permacool Deluxe Filter Kit (to replace the stock external one) and install a tranny cooler (preferably with a fan). Just to keep her cool until you put an STi tranny in her. As for the internal tranny filter, WIX makes one of the best fitting ones. Enjoy your SVX!

Oooo! Then it could be good competition agenst the ever popular non-turbo Stealths and 3000gt's. I'm sure everyone will be at the edge of there seats waiting for that.

DAMN STRAIGHT!!! Then I'm gonna do donuts in reverse!!!!

Actually, we just haven't had time to work on it this week. We've had a customer car here that I think we're over 20 hours of labor on so far.

Bummer too as I have some parts for it sitting here.

I would think that 05-07 STi wheels would be better. From what I've read, the 08 5 spokes weigh a ton.

I posted this apparently in the wrong forum, but would an EZ30 (or EZ36...) fit into an SVX? I was thinking of planning an EZ30 SVX with a 5speed.

Yes this would fit, and yes you posted in the wrong area. If you go to the Conversions area you'll be able to ask for more info. The work to swap it is likely not worth the hassle unless you really want it. In which case.... GO FOR IT!. I personally like my EG33 in my SVX. I will aslo like my EZ30R in my GF. I would suggest going to www.subaru-svx.net if you want to find SVX specifics though. NASIOC isn't known for too much dealing with SVX's. This thread is just one of those exceptions.

Sorry - haven't had much time to work on this. Trying like hell to keep afloat during the economic crisis which means our personal projects take a far back seat.
